Cambridge Computer Named NVIDIA’s 2026 Higher Education Partner of the Year

Waltham, MA – March 17, 2026 – Cambridge Computer today announced it has been named the NVIDIA Partner Network’s 2026 Higher Education Partner of the Year. The recognition marks Cambridge’s sixth consecutive NVIDIA Partner of the Year award.

Higher education has always been at the heart of Cambridge’s work. Universities and research institutions drive much of today’s research and innovation, and Cambridge specializes in designing the advanced computing infrastructure that powers that work. With scientists on staff who speak the same language as researchers, Cambridge helps translate scientific goals into practical technology solutions.

Cambridge was recognized as NVIDIA’s Higher Education Partner of the Year for four consecutive years before being named Innovation Partner of the Year in 2025. Returning to the Higher Education category in 2026 reflects how that work has continued to evolve.

While Cambridge has long helped individual campuses deploy advanced computing infrastructure, the company increasingly supports initiatives that bring institutions together. By designing environments that share resources across organizations, Cambridge is helping universities collaborate and build larger ecosystems for AI-enabled research.

A recent example of this collaborative approach is the Artificial Intelligence Compute Resources (AICR) initiative funded through the Massachusetts AI Hub. Cambridge Computer was selected by the Healey–Driscoll Administration to build the AI infrastructure supporting a new statewide compute resource at the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC). The initiative brings together the center’s member universities, including Harvard University, MIT, Boston University, Northeastern University, and the University of Massachusetts system. It will expand access to advanced AI computing for researchers across Massachusetts, including universities, startups, and industry innovators.

“Higher Education is a treasure,” said Deena Berton, CEO of Cambridge Computer. “They produce outstanding science and research that benefits humanity and the planet while also developing the next generation of leaders of all kinds. We are privileged to do our small part supporting these outstanding organizations and people.”

Through its collaboration with NVIDIA, Cambridge helps organizations design and deploy the infrastructure needed to support these evolving workloads, allowing scientists and innovators to focus on the work that matters most: discovery.

The award will be presented at NVIDIA GTC 2026, where representatives from Cambridge will join industry leaders to discuss the latest developments in accelerated computing and AI.
